Celebrating the Entrepreneurial Woman – You Gotta Laugh

The Kawartha Lakes Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre (KLSBEC) in partnership with Women in Networking Kawartha Lakes are hosting their sixth annual women’s event Celebrating the Entrepeneurial Woman – You Gotta Laugh on Friday April 13. 

The event starts at 5:30 pm at the Olympia Restaurant, 106 Kent Street West, Lindsay and features guest speaker Susan Stewart.

Susan is a comedian and author of Reaching the Laugh Resort, Your New Lenses are Ready for Pick Up: A Guide to Seeing the Lighter Side of Life and You Gotta Laugh: Wit and Wisdom About Not Taking Life (Or Yourself) Too Seriously.

She has spent the last 10 years entertaining and inspiring people to see the lighter side of life.

“The purpose of the event is to bring women of Kawartha Lakes together, as part of the larger global celebration of International Women’s Day,” explained Diane Steven, manager of KLSBEC.

“It’s great to be working in partnership with WiN in coordination of this fantastic event and we are so very happy to be able to do it again for the sixth time.”

“We are thankful for the support of our event partners including the Province of Ontario, Heather Chapman Design and Chambers of Commerce.”
