Free coffee for Common Kindness Day at Boiling Over

in Around Town/Community by

Get a free coffee (or tea) at Boiling Over’s Coffee Vault in Lindsay on Jan. 10, paid for by Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group’s “Common Kindness Day.”

Boiling Over will offer 100 free coffees or teas to the first customers through their doors, but the hope is that the giving won’t stop there.

The complimentary beverage comes with another request — pay the kindness forward by buying someone else a coffee or tea, creating a ripple effect.

Lindsay’s Boiling Over was just one of 10 coffee shops in nine communities in Ontario taking part. The other communities include: Peterborough, Perth, Ottawa, Barrie, Belleville, Alexandria, Midland, Whitby, and Stittsville.

Common Kindness Day was first launched by the insurance company last year as a way to spark more community spirit.

Last year, Common Kindness Day became a week-long celebration from so many people choosing to pay it forward.
