Ferreri spoke to local business people about their need to be on social media in order to grow their business, including the need for regular engagement with their customers.

Membership in the Chamber is up 25 per cent, according to Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce, President Mike Perry, and he noted how many new initiatives the organization has undertaken on behalf of small businesses.

This includes offering skills-based workshops in response to listening to what members said they need. Also in response to member demand, the chamber has offered a local workshop on diversity and inclusion, says Perry, among many other initiatives.
