Stella Panacci got her start in the music scene in the 1990s in the Toronto area as an indie pop drummer and songwriter and lead singer for the band Kat Rocket. Now relocated to Kawartha Lakes, she is getting set to release an album that has been two years in the making.

After a busy summer season of concerts and comedies, Globus Theatre is excited to kick off their Fall season with Every Brilliant Thing by Duncan Macmillan – a play that is, in equal parts, both hilarious and heart-wrenching.

Canadian Folk Music Awards Solo Artist of the Year Julian Taylor released his Juno-nominated album The Ridge in June 2020, in the early days of the pandemic.

If you are between the ages of 12 to 24 years, the city wants to hear from you. The Community Safety and Well-Being Plan Advisory Committee has identified four priority areas: mental health and addictions, poverty, housing and youth, and the Advisory Committee wants to hear from the youth of the Kawartha Lakes on these priorities.

Following a sold out run of Shirley Valentine, Globus Theatre now welcomes a multi-award-winning singer to be the star for their next show. Hailed “Canada’s Queen of Cabaret” by CTV’s eTalk, Gabi Epstein is a DORA award winner and one of Canada’s leading stage/cabaret performers.
