Fenelon Falls ticked all the right boxes for CBC’s long-running “Still Standing” television show to film an episode in the village this week. 

Lindsay’s storied but long-struggling Academy Theatre just got a major financial shot in the arm from Flato Developments — $1.125 million over 15 years.

Five years after their initial meeting at a Lindsay coffee shop, a writing group known as The Outliers has released an anthology of their work, Matters of Time.

Globus Theatre at the Lakeview Arts Barn presents three exciting shows to conclude their fall season, according to a media release – a festive murder mystery, a comedy improv show, and their crowd-pleasing annual panto.

Hot on the heels of their fourth nomination for Group of the Year at the CCMA Awards– and three times reigning winners in that category – The Washboard Union are heading back on the road for the “Everbound For Your Town Tour,” stopping at Lindsay’s Academy Theatre on Jan. 26.
