It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beverley Faye Bailey, who passed away suddenly in her home, the morning of March 18, 2026 at the age of 80.

Beverley, formerly of Fenelon Falls, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother “Nana”, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Known for her kindness, warmth, humour, and endless devotion to her family and community. Beverley had a deep love for cooking, baking, and gardening–her kitchen was always filled with fresh homemade cookies, muffins, pies, and biscuits and plenty of preserves. She also found great joy in watching and caring for birds and wildlife, a quiet passion that brought her peace. She will be remembered for loving and nurturing her family for many years, as well as her involvement in each of the small communities she resided. She was a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years. She had a gentle nature, a quick witted sense of humour, and a way of making everyone feel at home. She is survived by her husband, Murray Bailey; her children, Troy (Susan) Bailey, Chris (Darlene) Bailey, Cindy Bailey, and Shelley Johnston; her grandchildren, Brandon, Kristen, Jayson, Amber, Brittany; great-great children, Skye, Tobias, Colin, Elliott, Reese, Eli, Brantley, Hayden, Maverick, several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her brother, John Gorrell and her grandson, Shane Bailey. A visitation was held on Monday, March 23rd, in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home St. Mary’s Chapel, 34 Main Street, Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia. Memorial donations may be made to the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation at srcf.ca. She will be in our hearts and we will think of her often, especially in the kitchen and in the songs of birds. Arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W.
