Passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026. Loved son of the late Thomas & Dora Field of Longueuil, Quebec. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Aileen Field (née Morris). Beloved father to Kevin (Heather, née Metcalf) Field, the late Shawn (Noi, of Thailand) Field, and Kelly Thompson (née Field). Cherished grandfather to Robert & Kim Sauve Leduc of Alberta, Ben & Tania Sauve of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Andrea Thompson of Whitby, Ontario, Sara Adkins (Mark) of Whitby, Ontario, Shawnee Field and Powadon Field of Thailand. Great-grandfather to Sebastian and Carrisa Sauve, Liam Adkins, and Town, Tyme and Michelle Field. Brother to Ralph (Jackie) Field of Lindsay, Douglas Field of Cornwall, the late Lyle Field, Alma Jenkins (née Field) (late Harry) of Lindsay. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Art’s life will take place on April 25th from 1-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 67, 12 York Street North, Lindsay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Alzheimer Society online or via cheque through the Stoddart Funeral Home.
