Kawartha Lakes Police Service attended a Lindsay home in response to the report of an assault yesterday.

After speaking to the people involved in the incident a Lindsay man was arrested and charged with one count of assault.

The male was held in custody to attend a bail hearing on Jan. 22, 2018.  The name of the male is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
