I really enjoyed the article by Ginny Colling about her encouragement for people to start walking. As you know there is an Active Transportation Plan being developed by the CKL and a committee has been established to provide feedback on the consultant's proposed plan. 

More people need to know about the ATP being developed and participate by writing to the City and the committee about what they feel is needed in our city for walking and cycling opportunities.

The next meeting is this Friday, August 19th- at 1:30 pm. It is a zoom meeting and it is open to the public to listen to what is being discussed by the committee. If Ginny could attend (public) maybe she could report on the meeting and write another article about what she heard.

If the Advocate could promote the ATP regularly it would be really appreciated. This plan will have a major influence on current and potential residential development.
