Women in Business Profile: Sandy Terzo
Sandy Terzo grew up in Mississauga and lived in Brooklin for a time – but all that changed six years ago when she moved to Kawartha Lakes.
Lucky us, considering her speciality is Portuguese and Italian desserts. (Her background is Portuguese and her husband is Italian.) That’s what makes her bakery unique in Kawartha Lakes.
Sandy, whose passion has been baking since she was a child, has been in business four years.
“The business name – Dolce – was my idea because it means ‘sweet’ in Italian.”
Sandy says she loves to see the satisfaction her products bring.
She also values the friendly people that visit her bakery for a treat and coffee, and the great relationships she has built with her customers.
