Vincent Killen new ED of local Community Futures Development Corporation
The Kawartha Lakes Community Futures Development Corporation (KLCFDC) has announced the appointment of Vincent Killen, as the new executive director effective February 11.
Killen is a strategic economic development and financial services professional with more than 25 years of experience in a range of areas including finance, banking, project management and government investment strategies for entrepreneurs.
Since 2012, the KLCFDC has worked closely with Killen during his tenure as the executive director of the Community Futures Eastern Ontario Network and as the program manager for the Southern Ontario Fund for Investment and Innovation (SOFII).
He understands the dynamics and vision of the KLCFDC, according to a press release, and has extensive knowledge and expertise in creating opportunities within communities and across multiple business sectors.

Born and raised in Peterborough, Vince attended Trent University and has always given back to the community. He is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoys hiking and kayaking and enjoys spending time with his family.
