Vehicle collides with Ross Memorial Hospital
On Friday June 22 at 10:47 am the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was notified that a single vehicle had just collided with the south side of the building at Ross Memorial Hospital.
The investigation determined that a vehicle entered the hospital parking lot off Kent Street and attempted to maneuver into a parking spot along the south side of the building.
As the driver attempted to stop her vehicle, she pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake.
The vehicle pushed through a cement barrier and came to rest against the hospital itself.
The driver was taken into the emergency department as a precaution, and only minor damage resulted to her vehicle.
