School board needs local businesses for upcoming math career fair
Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) is reaching out to City of Kawartha Lakes businesses and organizations within the skilled trades, manufacturing, environmental, technology, and digital media industries to take part in a math career fair.
The fair, scheduled to take place on Friday, March 1 at Woodville Elementary School, is an opportunity for Grade 8 students to connect with industry professionals to learn about career opportunities within their region. The students will also see how the math they are currently learning in school will be applied in the workforce.
