Santa Day is coming to Fenelon Falls

Santa Claus is coming to town – Fenelon Falls, that is – on Saturday, November 24, for the 19th annual Santa Day.
A full day of free family fun, it all starts at 11 am – horse-drawn wagon rides around town, a petting zoo, pony rides, face-painting, popcorn, events at the museum, gingerbread cookie decorating and so much more. Of course, you can visit with Santa, and his reindeer would be thrilled if you stopped by to see them too.
The Dromoland Trolley will be there on Santa Day, with the reUnion Choir aboard from 1-2 pm – and Fenelon’s own town crier and consort will be on hand as well.
Daytime activities wrap up at 4 pm. At 5 pm the nighttime parade takes over, with bands, floats and special characters to delight young and old. The icing on the cake is a spectacular fireworks display over the falls – the perfect end to a magical day.
Brochures will be available with a map of the events, plus all the information you will need to make the most of this wonderful day. You can pick them up from local merchants and from volunteers who will be walking around town throughout the day.
Be sure to check out the newly-designed website for information on events, as well as applications for float entries for the parade. If you want to enter the gingerbread contest or volunteer for the day, there are applications for those as well.
