Passionate about critical care at RMH

Like most local families, the Cross family has spent its share of time at the Ross Memorial Hospital. Feeling fortunate for the care their loved ones have received, Paul and Beth Cross feel strongly about helping others, too.

In 2015, the Cross family committed to a multi-year pledge to purchase equipment needed for the hospital’s critical care program. On December 18th, Paul and Beth visited RMH to present the third installment of their pledge to Erin Coons, RMH foundation executive director.

During their visit, Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Officer Anne Overhoff walked them through the medical unit and explained how the new model of care in the intensive care unit is helping to alleviate acuity on the medical unit.

Overhoff discussed the nature of patients’ needs in the critical care program and how donors impact patient care by providing key medical technology. Anne thanked Paul and Beth Cross for their generosity and their commitment to the community that is home to their business, Lindsay Buick GMC Ltd.

“It’s nice to see how genuinely interested Paul and Beth are in the Ross Memorial’s Critical Care program and how contributions from donors are touching lives,” said Erin Coons.

“Their support is impacting our sickest patients. It’s a heart-warming gift.”
