Ops Township woman arrested for drinking and driving
On March 18, 2018 at 12:15 am a member of the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service observed a vehicle driving in the area of Angeline Street and Colborne Street in Lindsay.
The officer was suspicious of the manner in which the vehicle was being operated and stopped the vehicle to investigate the driver.
The driver was administered an approved roadside screening device and was subsequently arrested.
The driver was taken to the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service where she provided two further samples of her breath.
Charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in her blood is 24-year-old Breanna Deguerre of Ops Township. The accused will make her first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 19. The Accused’s vehicle was also impounded for seven days.
