Wayne passed away at Extended Care Kawartha Lakes on April 22, 2026. He leaves his wife Brenda, son Russell (Kelly), daughter Janice (Barry), grandchildren Michelle Lukas (Colin), Michael Curtis (Kiki), Haley Yerxa (Jon), Meagan Yerxa, and his great-grandsons, Levi Curtis and Finn Lukas. He also leaves his brother Jim and sister Lois. Pre-deceased by his parents Russ and Eileen Curtis, sister-in-law Sue Curtis and brother-in-law Steve Schmidt. At his request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place this summer. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice online or via cheque through the Stoddart Funeral Home.
