Man arrested for causing a disturbance  

On Thursday May 18 at 9 pm the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was called to attend a street in the north ward of Lindsay in response to reports of an intoxicated male screaming and shouting.

When officers arrived in the area they were informed a man had been shouting at local residents and attempting to start a fight.

The man was located a short time later, and despite the presence of police the man continued to shout and disturb local residents.

The man was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance.

Now, 50-year-old Dean Gonsalves of Lindsay will make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 21.
