Local writing group releases anthology of their work

Five years after their initial meeting at a Lindsay coffee shop, a writing group known as The Outliers has released an anthology of their work, Matters of Time.

This mixed-genre collection draws on an array of “fantastically complex characters, drops them in strange and unusual places, and gives them free rein to explore time,” according to a media release.

The 14 stories included in Matters of Time provide a sample of the writers’ work and offer something for all readers. In true outlier fashion, the collection’s contributors give readers an original and outsider’s take on all things past, present and future.

The cover art and design is by the newest member of the Outliers, Canadian artist Sherwin Tjia.

Copies of Matters of Time are available at Amazon and will soon be available at local bookstores.

The contributors include Altaire Gural, Sharon Overend, Lori Jean Roswell and Sara Walker.
