Lindsay resident has advice for NDP’s Singh

An open letter to Jagmeet Singh, leader of the federal NDP.

Dear Mr. Singh, may I make a suggestion about your use of the words “fight for” and “fighting for” during your election campaign?

These words are inherently belligerent and so uncharacteristic of you and your party.

There are more positive words to use such as: We are here to care about, to serve, give support to, advocate for, to assist with enthusiasm and sincerity, stand up for, be a source of strength for and to champion.

Too many politicians use combative terms. Please consider my suggestions. 

You will standout in a positive and original way from other politicians.
