Lindsay man arrested for robbery

The quick response of Kawartha Lakes Police Service foiled a robbery at a Queen Street business in Lindsay.

Yesterday before 9 am,  officers responded and made an arrest of a lone male suspect before he could flee the area.

Now, 51-year-old Gregory Kemp Oake of Lindsay has been charged with robbery with intent.

The accused was held in custody and attended a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice on January 25, 2018.
