Lindsay man arrested for Kent Street disturbance
On May 20 at 5:50 am the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was contacted through 911 in regards to a disturbance taking place at an address on Kent Street West in Lindsay.
Officers were informed by the caller that a person may be trying to break into a home in the area.
Members of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service attended the Kent Street West address and located a man outside, at the back of the home.
The man was arrested and found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
Further investigation revealed that a break and enter had not occurred at the residence.
However, charged with being unlawfully at large, failing to comply with the conditions of his probation order, and possession of a controlled substance is 35-year-old Michael James Martin of Lindsay.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 21.
