Library now offers online, mobile access to free movies, music

Kawartha Lakes Public Library is pleased to announce free public availability of thousands of movies, television shows, music albums, eBooks, audio books and comics through a new partnership with hoopla digital. All media and eBooks will be available for mobile and online.

Kawartha Lakes library card holders can download the free hoopla digital mobile app on Android or IOS devices or visit www.hoopladigital.com to begin enjoying thousands of titles – from major Hollywood studios, record companies and publishers – available to borrow 24/7, for instant streaming or temporary downloading to smartphones, tablets and computers.

“We are very excited to offer a service like hoopla which enables our patrons to instantly stream thousands of new titles to their devices, wherever and whenever they want. The easy-to-use interface and elimination of late fees enables us to satisfy our patron’s needs in a modern way.
