Don’t miss Irish Oktoberfest at Downeyville Hall

Don’t miss the second annual Irish Oktoberfest at Downeyville Hall, Saturday Oct 19, from 6-11 pm. Admission is $25 for adults.

Authentic German music and drinking songs and new this year is German-style square dancing.

Prizes are as follows:

Best Hans & Heidi costumes (male & female)
Best German Gams (male & female – must wear knee socks)
Best Waltz (couple)
Best Polka (couple)
Best Yodeller (male, female)
Best German Slap Dancers (male, female)

A complimentary beer stein will be given to participants. The meal is German sausage on a bun, potato salad, sauerkraut, German red cabbage, Black Forest cupcake, Hamburgers and gluten-free options.
