Food Source needs help to ‘Fill the Freezers’

Kawartha Lakes Food Source (KLFS) is seeking the community’s help to cook ready to serve meals. KLFS is piloting a frozen meal program. They are looking for groups of families, friends, businesses, service clubs and teams to help us fill our freezers with quality healthy meals for our neighbors.

They are in need of volunteers to make the meals and sponsorships to provide the ingredients for the meals. You can sponsor a cooking session by donating to KLFS Frozen Meals program. For example, a $50 sponsorship will provide 35 meals of chicken soup, $100 will provide 40 meals of chili and $200 will provide 75 meals of lasagna.
