Food preservation workshops

Kawartha Lakes Food Coalition is offering two food preservation workshops this fall to teach the craft of safely preserving fruits and vegetables.

Relish Your Local Produce will be held in Woodville Presbyterian Church located at 111 King Street in Woodville on September 13 from 1 -4 pm. Please register today to reserve your spot.

Holiday Preserving will be held at Lindsay Salvation Army located at 30 Peel Street in Lindsay on November 20 from 5:30pm – 8:00pm. Register for this workshop by November 6.

The charge for each workshop is $15 (cash) of which $5 will be refunded upon the completion of the workshop. There is limited space available so to reserve your spot contact 1-866-888-4577 extension 2202.
