Days Inn Lindsay wins major award second year in a row
Days Inn Lindsay's General Manager Candace Buckley makes room for another award.

The Days Inn & Suites Lindsay found out it has been awarded the annual Days Inn ‘chairman’s award,’ which recognizes the brand’s top performing hotels and their staffs.

In celebration of the hotel’s achievement, General Manager Candace Buckley, was presented the award by Days Inn and Wyndham Hotel Group leadership.

“It feels fantastic to be recognized for our hotel team’s efforts in being the best that we can be,” Buckley tells The Lindsay Advocate.

To be eligible for the award, hotels must have demonstrated strong quality scores, outstanding guest reviews and an unwavering commitment to the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program and its members.

“This is a great honor for our hotel and is a direct result of the hard work of our wonderful staff,” says Buckley.

“We’re in the business of creating lasting memories for all our guests and this starts with high quality service and unforgettable hotel experiences.”

In 2016, Buckley herself won the general manager of the year award for all Days Inn hotels across Canada. The Lindsay hotel also won property of the year and guest choice award for having the highest reviews online, in addition to the chairman’s award.

The Days Inn & Suites Lindsay is a 73-room hotel and offers complimentary breakfast, an indoor salt water pool, fitness center, meeting space, and pet friendly rooms.

Rooms feature flat-screen televisions, modern furniture, upgraded bedding, lush bath towels, fibre optic internet, and spacious sitting and work areas.

The hotel opened in May of 2015.
