Suspicious fire following theft of two vehicles
At 3:44am on February 19 Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a parking lot on St. Peter Street in Lindsay for a suspicious fire.
When officers arrived, they discovered that two vehicles, a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle and a 2005 white Chevrolet pick up truck were both on fire.
Later in the morning of February 19th the owner reported both vehicles stolen from his Elgin Street home.
Kawartha Lakes Police Service is actively investigating this theft and suspicious fire.
