On May 28 and again on May 29 a man attended a business on Kent Street West in Lindsay and left the store with property he did not pay for.
During the second incident on May 29, the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was notified and officers located the man a short distance from the store.
The man was arrested and found to be in possession of stolen property.
Charged with two counts of theft under $5000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, and four counts of failing to comply with his probation order is 30-year-old Latef Khair-Mohammad of Lindsay.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 28.
