Lindsay man taken into custody on arrest warrant

On Saturday March 17 at 10:40 am a member of the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service observed a man she knew to be “wanted” on the strength of an outstanding arrest warrant.

The officer arrested the male and found him to be in possession of stolen property.

Charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 is 42-year-old Mathew Albert Lair of Lindsay.

The accused will make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 19.
