Lindsay man arrested on outstanding warrant

On February 3 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service received the report of a break and enter to a residence on Hamilton Street in Lindsay.

Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch investigated this offence and identified a suspect who was in possession of property stolen from the home.  A warrant was issued for the arrest of this man.

On Friday March 23 a member of the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service observed the man he knew to be wanted on the strength of the outstanding arrest warrant connected to the break and enter.

The officer arrested the man without incident.

Charged with six counts of possession of a credit card obtained by crime and six counts of fraudulent use of credit card is 29-year-old Jamie Edwin Boundy of Lindsay.

The accused will make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 26.
