Family Day activities in Kawartha Lakes

Family Day fun is anytime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19 at the Lindsay Library branch. There will be games, crafts and stories for all ages. Families can also create, invent and learn with Maker Space activities between 5:30-7 p.m.

Bobcaygeon Frostfest

If snow sculpture competitions and hot chocolate is your thing, head over to the Bobcaygeon FrostFest. It’s on Sunday, Feb. 18 at Lock 32, from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. You can build your own snow sculpture or at least vote for your favourite one.

Gamiing Nature Centre’s Winterlude

Winterlude at Gamiing Nature Centre promises to be fun with a multitude of activities.

Little Miss Moffat will be joining the nature centre with her wild and wacky songs about nature for kids of all ages, at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.

Throughout the day there will be many different outdoor activities going on, including:

– Hiking the trails
– Identification walks
– Wild Teas
– Warm food & drinks
– Campfire
– Bowl Burning by the fire
– Snow man & fort building
– Wildlife Tracking
– Games

Admission is by donation.
