Don’t send intimate images over Internet: Police

In the last 72 hours, Kawartha Lakes Police have received several reports from male victims who sent intimate images to an unknown person who they met through Facebook.

After sending the images, the victims were told to send payment or the images would be distributed on the Internet.

All of the victims that have come forward are adults.

Police are reminding people that it is never a good idea to forward intimate pictures over the internet, especially to individuals you don’t know.
