Automotive flea market, car show

The 48th annual Automotive Flea Market and Car Show takes place May 4-5 at the Lindsay Fairgrounds, with doors opening at 8 am.

Since its inception at the armoury in Blackstock, the Antique Automobile Club of America, Ontario Region has been hosting its automotive flea market and car show. It has grown in size to include over 600 outside vending sites and over 200 inside vending sites.

Everything automotive is there, past, present & future, according to a press release. This includes car parts to automotive themed clothing, toys, auto insurance, memorabilia, manuals, car brochures and much more.

There is a large car show both days, with DJ music, and if you are looking to get into the car hobby there is even a car sales corral. Visit the club booth inside the Commonwell building, where MADD, (Mothers against Drunk Drivers) is set up, our sponor. Visit MADD and the OPP interactive display.

Come for the day, or spend the weekend, as there is on-site camping and the host hotel, Days Inn & Suites is just north on Angeline Street. There is all kinds of delicious food available on site, and a beer garden for your enjoyment.

Admission is $7 per person each day with children under 12 free, onsite parking is free with the price of admission. For more information check out the car club website www.aacaontario.ca.
