Arrest warrant leads to drug seizure

On Thursday March 22nd a member of the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service who was on patrol in the area of Lindsay Street south observed a man he knew to be wanted on the strength of an outstanding arrest warrant.

The officer arrested the man without incident and found him to be in possession of a number of controlled substances.

Charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking is 29-year-old James Nicholas Zarlenga of Lindsay.

The accused was held in custody to attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice on March 22.
