This new program is open to manufacturers located within Northumberland County, Peterborough County and Kawartha Lakes at no cost to the manufacturer.

Program criteria consists of being a manufacturer located within the above mentioned regions and completing all program consultations by March 10. Applications being accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

“Kawartha Lakes manufacturers are major employers in our area and an integral piece of our local economy,” says Vince Killen, executive director of KLCFDC. “This program is an important step in ensuring these manufacturers receive additional assistance outside of our current financial funding support. We are pleased to join with our regional CFDC partners, as well as the Northumberland Manufacturing Association and Kawartha Manufacturers Association, to be able to offer training support to these businesses.”
