Walleye Fishing Tournament: May 25-May 27

This tournament continues in the tradition of Ontario’s oldest, original live release tournament – the Walleye Fishing Tournament.

The Canada and U.S. Walleye Tournament’s 37th community-based event is organized by The Bobcaygeon and Area Chamber of Commerce.

It benefits the Ontario fishing industry and sponsors as well as Bobcaygeon and the City of Kawartha Lakes.

About 150 teams are entered. First place is guaranteed $10,000.

The Sporting Outdoors Show, also at the Bobcaygeon Fairgrounds, features over 40 vendors, demonstrations and refreshments.

The tournament runs from 9 am to 5 pm on all three days.
