Omemee gears up for a full day of family fun, food, and fireworks

How high school educators get young people to think about voting
On July 1, Omemee is ready to celebrate Canada Day.
Celebrate Canada Day in Omemee, where events and activities will be ongoing throughout the day. Visit the Omemee Beach Park (Rutland & George St. South) for family fun, reptile display, giveaways, Canadian flags & pins for the kids, Ducktona Duck Draw, cake, ice cream, live music and fantastic musical fireworks at dusk.
A family pancake breakfast will be hosted from 8-11, activities will then start at noon with the Omemee Lions BBQ grill fired up at 11am. A Bake sale at Omemee’s Trinity United Church will be on from 8am until baked goods are sold out.
