Get ready for Globus Theatre’s spectacular 23rd season, their fourth extended season that runs from May 8th to Dec. 20th

“When it comes to planning a season, I think my job is to provide a great variety of entertainment. I want to ensure our subscribers see something different each time they come in any given year; and I want everyone that reads about our season to find at least one show that truly excites them. Part of the whole theatre experience is selecting what you’re going to see and enjoying the anticipation -with our 2026 season I think we all have a lot to look forward to,” said Sarah Quick, Globus Theatre co-founder and artistic director in a press release.

The 2026 season opener is the 20th year of Girls Nite Out at Globus. This hit show originated here twodecades ago and has since toured across Canada to great acclaim. This great night of comedy will celebrate its milestone performance with pre-show cocktail packages and a post-show dance party with the performers, kicking off the season with a celebratory feel.

Highlights of the company’s 23rd season include the world premiere of Sore Losers by Bradley Austin – is a play about a small-town bowling alley fighting for survival; and an original Globus Murder Mystery, Murder at the Match – World Cup Edition programmed to coincide with and celebrate the history-making tournament spanning North America.

Lovers of all things Irish will delight in the clever comedy Fly Me to the Moon by Marie Jones, and Norm Foster fans will enjoy his cheeky comedy A Woman’s Love List. Adding to the eclectic offerings are Leave it to Cleavage, a hilarious 1950’s improvised
comedy that lets the audience take part in controlling the story; Canadian comedy Beyond the Sea by Kristen Da Silva & audience favourite Leisa Way’s new electrifying concert Get Down Tonight, featuring music from artists like The Bee Gees, Led Zepplin, ABBA, and Joni Mitchell. Closing out the season will be the annual Christmas themed murder mystery, this year it’s the festively tropical A Hula Holiday Homicide, and the traditional British Panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
